Tsumkwe, situated in the northern Kalahari in the Nyae Nyae conservancy, is an ideal adventurous starting point to reach the Zambezi (Caprivi) Region via Khaudom National Park as well as Botswana via the Dobe border post to experience the famous Okavango-Delta. Hidden among large grey granite boulders and mopane trees, Hoada Campsite has the trimmings of a serene home in the wilderness. A well-maintained gravel road, requiring a high clearance vehicle, leads to the camp, located approximately 75 km west of Kamanjab. Pitch your tent in one of the spacious campsites or book one of our 4 permanent tented units. Each site has ample space for roof tents and is equipped with a kitchen area and BBQ facilities, a flush toilet and an open-air shower with warm water. On hot afternoons, take a dip in the pool nestled between the rocks and enjoy a drink on the wooden decks around it.

Simply stylish and elegant, the Zebra Kalahari Lodge is the most decadent of the 3 lodges on the Intu Afrika Private Game Reserve. After a short drive through the contrasting Kalahari Desert where game languish under trees or in pans, guests are welcomed with a much-needed refreshing drink and a smile as warm as the desert sun. The gurgling fish pond and the beautiful stone and wood buildings immediately soothe one’s soul and guests are ushered into the coolness of the lounge area overlooking a rather vibrant waterhole and swimming pool whilst logistics are efficiently handled. The rooms area are huge and the walls are decorated with ancient African masks and ebony furnishings and are fitted with air conditioners, a mini bar, a hairdryer and a coffee and tea station with a very large bathroom leading out to an outside shower. There are 16 rooms adjacent to the lodge area which consists of a lounge with comfortable leather seats, a dining area on a deck mirroring the waterhole and swimming pool and a bar. This lodge is ideal for families or for more mature travellers as the facilities at the main lodge are easily accessible from their rooms.

Beach Lodge is one of the few accommodation establishments in Swakopmund that are situated right on the beach and in fact you will not be able to get any closer to the sea than this. Enjoy the magnificent view of the sea from each room, listen to the restless waves and smell the fresh sea breeze. We are approximately 5 km from the centre of town in a tranquil residential area with more than enough space to dream, relax or to take long leisurely walks along the beach.
