Epako Safari Lodge

Mount Etjo Safari Lodge is located in the heart of the Okonjati Game Reserve. One of the first private Game Reserves established in Namibia and founded by world-renowned conservationist Jan Oelofse. Home to over 8000 animals and a impressive variety of bird species the Okonjati Wildlife Sanctuary is a true Conservation Area, this historic lodge deservedly carries the name “Etjo”, meaning place of refuge. Mount Etjo Safari Lodge is where the most important Declaration of Namibia’s Independence was signed in 1989 (The Mount Etjo Declaration). Experiencing wildlife activities and enjoying nature on the Okonjati Game Reserve is memorable and everlasting, while enjoying exquisite cuisine and luxurious accommodation, Mount Etjo Safari Lodge is and remains one of the most favorite destinations for visitors from around the world.

Spitzkoppen Lodge lies amidst the granite boulders of the the beautiful Spitzkoppe scenery. The Lodge offers 15 generously spaced chalets, each with private bathroom and covered outside viewing deck.  The buildings are linked with elevated walkways all constructed to be wheelchair friendly and minimise the impact on the environment. The dining, lounge and bar area open onto the split level pool deck and the natural rock pool.

Spitzkoppe Mountain Tented Camp is situated only one km from the beautiful Spitzkoppe Mountains. The campsite boasts pre-erected safari tents, and camping sites ideal for families and groups. The area is popular with mountain climbers, hikers and star gazers.  The camp offers comfortable safari tents, already set up and wait for your arrival and camping sites with private bathrooms, showers and electrical points. Each tent sleeps three people and has a private bathroom with running water and flush toilets. Bar and Restaurant is available however guest can also bring their own catering equipment and staff are available to assist with any requests. Braai facilities and washing up areas are provided at each campsite.  Guests can enjoy sunset tours a guided drive or walk to the popular Bushmen Paintings or mountain biking.

Situated between Usakos and Omaruru amidst massive granite boulders overlooking the magnificent Erongo Mountain Range is AiAiba Lodge. The Erongo Region is one of the most environmentally diverse areas in Namibia, hosting an array of endemic and near-endemic plant, reptile, mammal and bird species, as well as a wealth of cultural artefacts. Twenty thatched-roof twin bedrooms, tastefully appointed en-suite shower, offer the visitor a unique, luxurious African experience. The restaurant with its panoramic view, bar and crystal-clear pool nestling amount the rocks add to the natural tranquillity of the surroundings.

Erindi Private Game Reserve is a protected reserve in central Namibia. Erindi, meaning “place of water”, is a sustainable natural wonderland. We are custodians to the most prolific amount of endemic species and multiple conservation projects. With 70,719 hectares of pristine wilderness under our care, we have undertaken an immense task to pursue conservation initiatives in the name of eco-friendly tourism, whilst empowering our local communities. Just west of Omaruru , The Erongo Wild perches amidst the rugged granite kopjes imminent to Namibia’s Erongo Mountains. The lodge is a founder member of the 2,000 square kilometer Erongo Mountain Nature Conservancy, which brings together 30 private landowners in an effort to conserve this diverse area, known for excellent bird watching and hiking. There are also rare and endemic species of fauna and flora here, along with Bushman rock paintings.

Nestled in a green Oasis, the thatched roof bungalows are grouped around the large water place / waterhole under shady palm trees and welcome the guest in the middle of the African wildlife of the Omaruru Game Lodge. Each Bungalow offers its own veranda from which the visitors can observe the animals and immerse themselves into the unique atmosphere of the Omaruru Game Lodge or relax by the pool.

The Etusis Nature and Game Reserve was gradually expanded to its 21,000 hectares of today. We consciously avoid fences, which suppress the natural migration of the game species through the Reserve.  The Lodge was built a little later in the heart of the reserve – with a gentle ecologically sustainable tourism concept, in which mankind understands herself as a guest. This has created jobs for the local community and, last but not least, we are trying to give each of our guests an impression of the uniqueness of Namibian nature and the necessity to preserve it.

Our Farm Omandumba West is exactly what is meant when speaking about a typical Namibian farm: fascinating landscapes, recreative nature, rustic accommodation, exciting activities and the famous Namibian silence. Omandumba is a personal guest lodge with farm atmosphere. Our cosy guest farm as well as our fantastically located Bush Camp are perfectly suited for the individual, nature-loving traveller to Namibia! The eight farm-style rooms are situated at our farm house and are basic, spacious and comfortable. They do not offer any air conditioning or modern appliances, but authentic Namibian cosiness. All of the rooms are en suite. The Bush Camp offers Spacious Safari tents with stylishly equipped bathrooms at the back of each tent grant a comfortable stay. Each tent is furnished with a large double bed and a private terrace offering great vistas onto the breath-taking Erongo Mountains. Also on offer are 5 campsites. The private sites have cold / hot showers and open-air flush toilets.
