Rooisand Desert Ranch is situated on the fringe of the Namib Desert in Namibia’s Central Region, at the C 26 between the mountain passes of Gamsberg and Kuiseb, halfway between Windhoek (170 km) and Walvis Bay on the Atlantic coast (190 km).  The farm has a size of some 12.000 ha, a huge area by European standards. Surrounded by the magnificent scenery of red sand dunes – deposited in distant times by winds from the Kalahari Desert – vast grasslands and rugged mountains, ROOISAND Desert Ranch close to the Gamsberg affords its guests a relaxing sojourn with every convenience.

Ouhave Country Home is situated in the north-east of Namibia about 100 km away from the Waterberg Plateau. The guest farm is run by the owners, who also breed with the indigenous Nguni cattle on their farm and who are happy to give guests insight into typical Namibian farm life. Omandumba is a personal guest lodge with farm atmosphere. Our cosy guest farm as well as our fantastically located Bush Camp are perfectly suited for the individual, nature-loving traveller to Namibia! The eight farm-style rooms are situated at our farm house and are basic, spacious and comfortable. They do not offer any air conditioning or modern appliances, but authentic Namibian cosiness. All of the rooms are en suite. The Bush Camp offers Spacious Safari tents with stylishly equipped bathrooms at the back of each tent grant a comfortable stay. Each tent is furnished with a large double bed and a private terrace offering great vistas onto the breath-taking Erongo Mountains. Also on offer are 5 campsites. The private sites have cold / hot showers and open-air flush toilets.

Bambatsi is one of the first and oldest guest farms in Namibia. It is situated 400 km north of Windhoek and lies 2 hours away from the Etosha National Park. You will be welcomed with our traditional “southwest” friendliness and way of life. Our guest farm with its endless horizons, lies about 1234m high on a giant ridge, the natural geologic divide, between the central highland and the Namib desert. Our farm house is built on plateau, that has an awe-inspiring view over the mopane landscape.

Corona Guest Farm is a self-sustaining Guest Farm covering an area of about 23000 hectares in central Namibia. An area of unrivalled bio-diversity where Gamsberg mountains and Central Highland ecosystems overlap. It’s also a well-known game viewing. The farm is home to a large number of free-roaming Zebra, Kudu, Oryx and Steenbok apart from all other small game.
Corona is situated roughly half-way between Windhoek and Walvis Bay on the C26 gravel road. Take an unhurried journey across the Khomas Hochland and down the escarpment for a slower but almost traffic free alternative from the busy tarred B2 road. Time permitting, many prefer this route through rolling hills and valleys, to enjoy the far-reaching open spaces of the Namib Desert before the delights of the coast.

Our area is home to a widely representative cross-section of Namibian wildlife. It is a wonderland for lovers of both fauna and flora alike. Animals can be viewed by sitting in one of the many elevated hides located at various waterholes around the ranch. Alternatively, relax on our deck at the pool, which looks onto a waterhole. Different species of animals visit this waterhole day and night, when the waterhole is illuminated. The area around the Waterberg is also well-known amongst bird lovers.
Waterberg Guest Farm offers four comfortably furnished rooms and four bush bungalows, en suite. A lounge with a fireplace and a selection of books await you on cold winter nights. In the afternoon guests are treated with coffee and tea. Afterwards you may want to join our guide on a drive: visit the Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF), go to the ‘Little Serengeti’ with an abundance of wildlife, or enjoy your sundowner at one of our dams or waterholes against the backdrop of the majestic Waterberg Plateau.

Guestfarm Gelukspoort offers a tranquil retreat to smaller groups and the individual traveller…Gelukspoort is a 5000 hectare large guest farm located in the Fransfontein Mountains between Twyfelfontein, petrified forest and the Etosha pan and is surrounded by a mountainous landscape and a very large variety of trees, plants and grasses. With its magnificent and wild landscape, as well as plenty wild animals, Gelukspoort is the ideal place to relax and recline.

The Ameib Rhino Sanctuary which is part of the Erongo Mountain Rhino Sanctuary Trust, is a specially protected wilderness area with guest house in the Erongo Mountains, offering 10 guest rooms and 10 camping sites. The farm is among other things popular for two interesting sights: The Bull’s Party with the elephant head, a collection of impressing granite rock formations and the Phillipp’s Cave, an old cave of the San where they created many interesting rock paintings, including the very popular white elephant.
