Alte Kalkofen Lodge is situated 100 km west from the small historical town Keetmanshoop en-route the main tar road to Luderitz in the Southern part of Namibia. The lodge is set in a beautiful natural African garden where vast open spaces effortlessly combine with the rocky desert area. The lodge itself offers 10 bungalows as well as two rooms in the farm house, all overlooking large camel thorn trees growing in the river bed. The lodge features its own restaurant where breakfast is served daily. The restaurant is also open to guests for light lunches and home-cooked evening meals.

/Ai – /Ais Hotsprings Spa is situated at the south-eastern end of the famous Fish River Canyon. Meaning “”burning hot”” in the Nama language. /Ai – /Ais offers 43 rooms and as a main feature the hot Spa, where the temperature of the natural hot springs is cooled down to an enjoyable and relaxing level.

Anticipation builds up as you turn off the main gravel road toward Canyon Lodge. The soft colours of apricot sand merging with the pale green of euphorbias is a prelude to the loveliness of the lodge surrounds. As you turn a final bend, the lodge comes into view. Nestled between rounded granite boulders, Canyon Lodge’s quaint century-old farmhouse reception, verdant garden and cool pond invite and welcome you into the enchanted enclave.  Away from the world, there is a gentle rhythm of peace to find here, reaffirming the goodness of life. For those just wanting a break from the road, lounge at the pool, take a snooze in the coolness of your thatch-and-stone chalet or dip into a book on the terrace. The awe-inspiring canyon wakens our senses to the raw and powerful beauty of Nature.

The Schützenhaus Guesthouse, established in 1907, is the oldest German Club in Southern Africa. It was privatised after 98 years and is now a prestigious guesthouse in Keetmanshoop. It is situated in the Pastorie Street and its tranquil surroundings are a true resting place for the weary traveler. It is the ideal base station for guests wishing to explore the Mesosaurus Fossil Trail, Quiver Tree Forest, Fish River Canyon, Giant’s Playground and other tourist attractions in and around Keetmanshoop. Here you can re-live the good old times. It boasts a selection of 26 en suite rooms with good Wifi connectivity, TV and a coffee/tea station, an A la Carte restaurant, private bar, and barbecue facilities for the self-catering guest. We also offer 4 camping facilities with ablutions and a swimming pool.

Goibib Mountain Lodge is a situated in southern Namibia and is a useful stopover for those travelling between South Africa and Namibia. It offers a tranquil getaway right in the heart of the Great Karas Mountains. The Karas region is the southernmost, and the driest area in Namibia. It is flanked by the Atlantic Ocean to the west, South Africa and Botswana to the east and the Orange River border lies to the south. The beauty of the surrounding veld, can be enjoyed in the morning or afternoon, on foot or from the one of the lodge’s air-conditioned four-wheel-drive (4WD) vehicles. A variety of game can be viewed, including kudu, springbok, gemsbok and ostriches, as well as smaller species such as rock dassies and the elusive steenbok. Goibib Mountain Lodge has plenty of walking trails in and around the farm, and are now specializing in spotlit night game drives.

On the banks of the Orange River, which forms the natural border between South Africa and Namibia, you will find Orange River Lodge. The lodge is situated in the border town of Noordoewer – Namibia and is perfectly located between Cape Town and Windhoek to offer travellers a welcome rest. We offer 4 double self-catering rooms, 2 double rooms and 6 family rooms. All rooms have a private bathroom, air-conditioning and tea/coffee making facilities. The Lodge offers free Wi-Fi and is pet friendly. Relax and enjoy our hospitality in our thatched lapa restaurant where we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our bar offers the typical friendly Namibian atmosphere. We offer activities like fishing, canoeing and for visitors with an interest in the history of Namibia there are a number of interesting sites to visit. Other activities can be arranged on request.  Orange River lodge borders the Ai-Ais-Richtersveld Transfrontier Conservation Park which spans some of the most spectacular scenery of the arid and desert environments in southern Africa. The park is characterised by a unique and impressive variety of plant species.

Quiver trees, Nama culture, rugged landscape and an impressive sweeping rock formation characterise Canyon Village. Stone-and-thatch chalets are positioned in a horse-shoe design around a celebration of young quiver trees and the sprawling thatched central area, bedecked with bougainvillea, serving as restaurant, bar, lounge and reception. A cart drawn by a team of mules waits outside, conveying luggage to the chalets in a flurry of activity and laughter. ‘Take a walk on the South’s side’ is a suitable motto for this Fish River Canyon lodge. There are 17 en-suite Cabanas sleeping two each. There are Two Family en-suite Cabanas sleeping 4 each. Furthermore we have one Honeymoon Suite sleeping Double only. Moreover Accommodation in Southern Namibia at Provenance Camp has air conditioning with en-suite bathrooms. At the same time the Cabanas are available on a bed only basis. In Addition all meals are served in our restaurant situated on a hill overlooking the vast Orange River. The Cabanas are not self-catering all meals available at the on site Restaurant. The Cabana Accommodation in Southern Namibia is only 13km from the Namibian Border. Therefore making it the perfect stop over on your long journey.
