Meike’s Guesthouse opened its doors in 2001 with 4 double rooms. Since then, the establishment has expanded and now offers a total of 22 beds. Through our over 25 years of experience in hospitality, we have a deep understanding of what travellers are looking for. Our rooms are not only spacious and stylish, but also equipped with anything a holidaymaker could need. We have five individually styled, homey double rooms (twin bedded) and two spacious family units (two separate bedrooms, one shared bathroom). In addition to this, we also have one large, fully-equipped 2-bedroom self-catering apartment on offer.

Brigadoon Guest House was the first bed and breakfast in Swakopmund to be registered with the Namibian Tourist Board in 1996, and since that time we have built up an enviable reputation for comfort and hospitality, for our impressive standard of service, and our ideal location close to the beach and at the heart of Swakopmund. We have recently refurbished all the guest rooms and landscaped the garden to further improve the ambience and tranquility which our guests value so much. Kashana is based in a historic building constructed in 1907 as a casino for local mine-workers. It is thought that the house probably gained its name from the surrounding bush savannah which resembled a wide open plain or ‘Kashana’ in the Owambo language. The years took their toll on the building and after painstaking restoration to its former glory it once again reflects its German colonial heritage and was re-opened in 2007.  Today, the building is the centerpiece of a Lodge-style Guesthouse with a novel and attractive bar and a popular all-day à la carte restaurant, frequented not only by residents, but also by passing travellers and local townspeople, all enjoying the tranquil shade of the garden courtyard.
