Epupa Camp offers you a relaxing yet exhilarating few days of personalised service and excellent meals in the seclusion of a lush riverine wilderness of Ana trees, wild figs, Makalani palms and Baobabs. It is situated on the southern bank of the Kunene River, from which the Kunene Region in the northwest of Namibia, takes its name. Epupa Camp offers three kinds of accommodation, namely tented rooms, self-catering tented-campsites and traditional campsites.

Just east of Aus, Klein Aus Vista lodge is nestled in the granite-gneiss hills with magnificent views of the landscape. This is the area where the Namib Desert begins to merge with golden grasses, where wild horses roam free and people once gathered with diamond dreams. Klein Aus Vista provides the perfect base to explore south-western Namibia, as a destination in itself or a perfect halfway stop en route from the canyon to the red dunes of Sossusvlei or vice versa.

The Lodge is situated inside Fort Sesfontein which has been re-established authentically even to details from the ruins of a historical Fort built in 1896. The place offers a pleasant atmosphere with hot dry days and cool nights. After the adventures of the day and the culinary delights of the evening, you will enjoy a relaxing night below the Southern Cross and a fascinating star-studded sky. Fort Sesfontein is an oasis in the Namibian wilderness.

Hiking and riding in the NAUkLuFT, the realm of quiver trees and mountain zebras, and a cosy stay with a personal touch amid the ambience of a working farm – this is what you can experience at BüllsPort Lodge & Farm. Each chalet is equipped with a private bathroom, a desk and a coffee and tea station. There are no electrical outlets, but we have a charging station in the main area of the lodge.

Quiver trees, Nama culture, rugged landscape and an impressive sweeping rock formation characterise Canyon Village.
