Ukwaluudhi Safari Lodge (Uukwa for short) is located northwest of Etosha National Park. We are a private game reserve in the Uukwaluudhi Conservancy that provides guests with a unique, remote experience filled with wildlife and stunning landscape views in the heart of Kaokoland.  We offer safari game drives on our property and cultural excursions to nearby villages which will give you a new perspective on Namibia and the beautiful North West area known as the Kunene Region.

There are 16 rooms adjacent to the lodge area which consists of a lounge with comfortable leather seats, a dining area on a deck mirroring the waterhole and swimming pool and a bar. This lodge is ideal for families or for more mature travellers as the facilities at the main lodge are easily accessible from their rooms.

Doro Nawas rests on the edge of the dry Aba-Huab River overlooking ancient plains with glorious views of the rugged Damaraland area. The camp provides an excellent base for exploring in game drive vehicles and on foot, as well as excursions to view fascinating geological phenomena, petroglyphs (prehistoric rock engravings) and San rock art at Twyfelfontein, Namibia’s first World Heritage Site. The 16 chalets are crafted in wood, canvas and thatch (including a family unit) to blend in with the surrounding scenery. Each unit comprises a bedroom, bathroom, outdoor shower, and veranda for star gazing or sleep outs under the stars. There are indoor and outdoor dining areas, a pool area and a small curio shop.

Canyon Roadhouse 2
