The award-winning Lüderitz Nest Hotel (est. 1998) is one of Namibia’s favourite hotels and is located directly on the rocks and sea with its own private tidal beach and walk-on jetty – unique in Namibia! The 4 Star hotel is located in Lüderitz, a harbour town in the south-west of Namibia. Between Kaokoland and the Skeleton Coast, where the flat-topped Etendeka mountains and the carpet of rich red rock greet the tributaries of the Uniab River, lies Palmwag Lodge and Camp. At Shametu River Lodge you will be experiencing the tranquillity of the Kavango River on your doorstep. When driving to the Caprivi, most travellers assume that Divundu, Kavango East, is only a place for a quick stop-over on their way to game parks and fishing tales but what they do not realise is that they are driving thru one of Namibia’s most precious hidden gems. Divundu is filled with the rich culture of the Kavango people – women draped with colourful cloth, Nguni cattle crossing the road every few meters. Children playing in the river and men on the wato’s catching dinner with nothing but an earthworm on a hand line. Game parks filled with wildlife, the Kavango East has become a destination in its own, a place where you can spend at least a few days.

Ukwaluudhi Safari Lodge (Uukwa for short) is located northwest of Etosha National Park. We are a private game reserve in the Uukwaluudhi Conservancy that provides guests with a unique, remote experience filled with wildlife and stunning landscape views in the heart of Kaokoland.  We offer safari game drives on our property and cultural excursions to nearby villages which will give you a new perspective on Namibia and the beautiful North West area known as the Kunene Region.

Simply stylish and elegant, the Zebra Kalahari Lodge is the most decadent of the 3 lodges on the Intu Afrika Private Game Reserve. After a short drive through the contrasting Kalahari Desert where game languish under trees or in pans, guests are welcomed with a much-needed refreshing drink and a smile as warm as the desert sun. The gurgling fish pond and the beautiful stone and wood buildings immediately soothe one’s soul and guests are ushered into the coolness of the lounge area overlooking a rather vibrant waterhole and swimming pool whilst logistics are efficiently handled. The rooms area are huge and the walls are decorated with ancient African masks and ebony furnishings and are fitted with air conditioners, a mini bar, a hairdryer and a coffee and tea station with a very large bathroom leading out to an outside shower. There are 16 rooms adjacent to the lodge area which consists of a lounge with comfortable leather seats, a dining area on a deck mirroring the waterhole and swimming pool and a bar. This lodge is ideal for families or for more mature travellers as the facilities at the main lodge are easily accessible from their rooms.

“Shark Island is situated on the Shark Peninsula in the coastal town of Lüderitz. From Shark Island you have wonderful views onto the rough and cold Atlantic Ocean and in fact the whole area is rather inhospitable with its barren, rugged rock surfaces and the Namib Desert that surrounds it.
Nonetheless the town has its own charm, created by a mixture of it”s colonial buildings, the harbor, the sea and it”s rich history.”

Located just 8 km from the Von Lindequist Gate on the eastern boundary of Etosha National Park, Mushara Lodge is an ideal overnight stop for visitors to the game reserve. The name Mushara is derived from the Purple Pod Terminalia tree which grows abundantly on the lodge grounds and in the surroundings. The thatched public area includes a small library with a selection of good books, a bar with an extensive wine cellar, an airy lounge complete with welcoming fireplace for winter evenings, a dining area and a well stocked curio shop. Great attention has been paid to the décor, which is an eclectic blend of traditional African and modern works of art mixed with original older paintings.
