Onguma the Fort

There are 17 en-suite Cabanas sleeping two each. There are Two Family en-suite Cabanas sleeping 4 each. Furthermore we have one Honeymoon Suite sleeping Double only. Moreover Accommodation in Southern Namibia at Provenance Camp has air conditioning with en-suite bathrooms. At the same time the Cabanas are available on a bed only basis. In Addition all meals are served in our restaurant situated on a hill overlooking the vast Orange River. The Cabanas are not self-catering all meals available at the on site Restaurant. The Cabana Accommodation in Southern Namibia is only 13km from the Namibian Border. Therefore making it the perfect stop over on your long journey.

A spacious shower room, separate toilet and covered washing-up areas will ensure you are comfortable. all units are equipped with electrical plugs so our campers can keep their drinks cold and their cameras charged.  There is a stunning main area with restaurant where you can enjoy a hearty meal while looking out across the waterhole.  Although the Onguma Tamboti Luxury Campsite is fenced in, adult supervision of children is required at all times.

One of the highlights of Kaokoland in the far northern reaches of Namibia, Epupa is a magical belt of makalani palm forest on the perennial Kunene River. There’s something special about this Kaokoland refuge 180km north of Opuwo, where the Kunene River plunges into the gorge below. Two hundred metres upstream from the cascading falls, Omarunga Lodge is a cosy thatched lodge on the riverbank set under the palms, and the perfect place from which to experience Epupa enchantment. At Shametu River Lodge you will be experiencing the tranquillity of the Kavango River on your doorstep. When driving to the Caprivi, most travellers assume that Divundu, Kavango East, is only a place for a quick stop-over on their way to game parks and fishing tales but what they do not realise is that they are driving thru one of Namibia’s most precious hidden gems. Divundu is filled with the rich culture of the Kavango people – women draped with colourful cloth, Nguni cattle crossing the road every few meters. Children playing in the river and men on the wato’s catching dinner with nothing but an earthworm on a hand line.
