The Okambara Elephant Lodge is a family-run guest farm in the heart of Namibia. The short distance to Windhoek airport (1 hour) makes it the perfect lodge to start your exciting trip or to enjoy the end of a fantastic journey. The 15.000ha game farm provides loads of activities no matter if you are after an exciting game drive or if you want to relax at the pool. No matter if you stay with us for one night or for two weeks.
We are always happy when guests become friends. When at the end of your stay you tell us that it felt like home whilst being on holiday. There is a lot to do and to discover on Okambara. How about a Game Drive or a hike in Namibia’s nature? Or maybe you want to experience the feeding of our Cheetahs and Caracals?
If that is too much for you, you can also just relax in our pool or sit on our waterhole next to the lodge and watch beautiful birds and different antelopes passing by. You can choose between one of the 5 comfortable apartments in the main building, from one of the two typical rondavels (bungalows) or you can also stay in the Mountain House and enjoy the stunning view from its balcony.

Fill up on smiles at this extraordinary and out-of-the-ordinary lodge. Resembling a roadhouse of old with a large red roof, the lodge is a veritable treasure-house and a ‘must-do’ stop when visiting the canyon. The well-established Ongava Lodge is situated in the privately owned Ongava Game Reserve along the southern boundary of Etosha National Park. Goibib Mountain Lodge is a situated in southern Namibia and is a useful stopover for those travelling between South Africa and Namibia. Corona Guest Farm is a self-sustaining Guest Farm covering an area of about 23000 hectares in central Namibia. An area of unrivalled bio-diversity where Gamsberg mountains and Central Highland ecosystems overlap. It’s also a well-known game viewing. The farm is home to a large number of free-roaming Zebra, Kudu, Oryx and Steenbok apart from all other small game.
Corona is situated roughly half-way between Windhoek and Walvis Bay on the C26 gravel road. Take an unhurried journey across the Khomas Hochland and down the escarpment for a slower but almost traffic free alternative from the busy tarred B2 road. Time permitting, many prefer this route through rolling hills and valleys, to enjoy the far-reaching open spaces of the Namib Desert before the delights of the coast.
