Khowarib Lodge nestles on the banks of the Hoanib River in the magnificent Khowarib Gorge in north-west Namibia. Torra Bay Campsite is a seasonal fishing retreat, situated inside the Skeleton Coast Park on the Atlantic coast. Open only in December and January, Torra Bay is famous in the angling circle due to the variety and quantity of fish that come down the Atlantic current.
“The name //Garas is the nama word (a local language) which means Quiver tree. This is a very basic, but clean campsite with ablution facilities, that has been decorated in an attractive manner. There are many quiver trees between amazing rock formations, and several aloe plants. Wood, water and snacks are available, but everything else you need to supply yourself. The owner of the rest camp is also an artist and immediately when turning off the B1 towards the campsite one can find several sculptures made from all sorts of materials along the road. Day visitors are welcome to visit this slightly different Quivertree forest.

Camp Kala consists of just four guest Suites, linked by raised walkways, and although the lodge is perfect for exclusive use for 8 to 12 guests, the 4 suites can also be booked individually. Spacious and private, the open-plan suites have sumptuous twin or king-sized beds with a state-of-the-art air-cooling system. The comfortable seating area is equipped with a fully stocked personal bar. Each suite has its own deck with fire pit, outdoor shower and wood-fired hot tub. Situated in the forested area of a riverine environment, the recently renovated Onguma Etosha Aoba Camp offers high thatched ceilings, an impressive wine cellar to complement delicious meals served under the stars, a refreshing swimming pool and an elevated viewing deck both overlooking a large and active waterhole. Onguma Etosha Aoba Camp is unfenced and therefore no children under the age of 7 years will be allowed. Game drives are conducted on open safari vehicles and therefore for safety reasons, children under 10 years are not permitted on game drive vehicles.
