A Little Sossus Lodge

This remote settlement, at the edge of the Namib-Naukluft National Park, has been a welcome stopover for more than 60 years. You can fill up on petrol, have tyres repaired, and stretch your legs during the long drive from Sessriem to Swakopmund.  Solitaire sits just below the Tropic of Capricorn at the center of the 45,000 acre Solitaire Land Trust, dedicated to preserving the grassland ecosystem and the wild animals that reside here. Land Trust holdings reach from the base of the Great African Escarpment to the Namib, the oldest desert in the world.

We have 14 spacious panorama suites available, all with their own balcony overlooking Karivos spectacular Savannah landscape.
Elements of rough natural stone from the area and thatched grass roof were used to integrate the rooms into nature and make the lodge as unobtrusive to the landscape as possible. All rooms are comfortably furnished and have a minibar and coffee station available.

The Kavango River Lodge, with a spectacular view over the Okavango River and flood plains of southern Angola, caters for both tourists and business people. The chalets have en-suite facilities, air-con, TV-4 channels, refrigerators, hotplates, kettles, cutlery, crockery. Breakfast will be served in the restaurant and you can enjoy Buffet or a-la-carte for dinner. Also a mini-bar available. The ideal place for nature and bird watchers.

Situated between Usakos and Omaruru amidst massive granite boulders overlooking the magnificent Erongo Mountain Range is AiAiba Lodge. The Erongo Region is one of the most environmentally diverse areas in Namibia, hosting an array of endemic and near-endemic plant, reptile, mammal and bird species, as well as a wealth of cultural artefacts. Twenty thatched-roof twin bedrooms, tastefully appointed en-suite shower, offer the visitor a unique, luxurious African experience.
