The mountains of the Naukluft with their gorges and springs form a charming contrast to the dune sea of the Namib. You have the choice between our lodge at the foot of the Naukluft Mountains and two campsites located 3 km further in separate mountain valleys within our nature reserve.

The Gabus Game Ranch is a family-owned lodge in Namibia which was built back in 1995.  The lodge is a popular overnight destination for tourists and locals travelling to Etosha National Park.

Nestled in a green Oasis, the thatched roof bungalows are grouped around the large water place / waterhole under shady palm trees and welcome the guest in the middle of the African wildlife of the Omaruru Game Lodge. Each Bungalow offers its own veranda from which the visitors can observe the animals and immerse themselves into the unique atmosphere of the Omaruru Game Lodge or relax by the pool.

Our bar offers the typical friendly Namibian atmosphere. We offer activities like fishing, canoeing and for visitors with an interest in the history of Namibia there are a number of interesting sites to visit. Other activities can be arranged on request.  Orange River lodge borders the Ai-Ais-Richtersveld Transfrontier Conservation Park which spans some of the most spectacular scenery of the arid and desert environments in southern Africa. The park is characterised by a unique and impressive variety of plant species.

The tent houses of Teufelskrallen Lodge are located on the first western Kalahari dune and offer its guests a panoramic view over the endless vastness and the sprawling Kalahari dunes. The fully-furnished and comfortably equipped tented houses come with a large view deck and their own bathroom. Each bathroom is connected to the tent by a short boardwalk. Reception, restaurant and swimming pool are located in the old farmhouse at a distance of 3km from the tents. During hikes and game drives, guests can experience the breathtaking beauty of the Kalahari with the 30m dunes and the rich wildlife stock.

Easily accessible by sedan car and 30km from Mariental, this Kalahari lodge is a good overnight stop if travelling between Windhoek and the south or continuing to the Kgalagadi. This remote settlement, at the edge of the Namib-Naukluft National Park, has been a welcome stopover for more than 60 years. A thirsty traveler will find cold drinks, ice cream, baked goods, coffee and lunch. You can fill up on petrol, have tyres repaired, and stretch your legs during the long drive from Sessriem to Swakopmund.  Solitaire sits just below the Tropic of Capricorn at the center of the 45,000 acre Solitaire Land Trust, dedicated to preserving the grassland ecosystem and the wild animals that reside here. Land Trust holdings reach from the base of the Great African Escarpment to the Namib, the oldest desert in the world.

Damaraland Camp is situated in the Huab River Valley in one of the best wilderness areas in Namibia, offering endless vistas across stark plains, ancient valleys and a stunning ochre-purple mountain backdrop. Activities include nature drives and walks while further afield, ancient rock art and geological wonders dot the area. Ten large adobe-style thatched units (including a family unit) are raised off the ground, each with a walk-in dressing area and a large deck on which to sit and contemplate the desert. The spacious public living area comprises a dining area and swimming pool. An open campfire and outdoor boma are enjoyed during calm evenings and stargazing is superb, thanks to the crystal-clear night skies.
