Brigadoon Guest House was the first bed and breakfast in Swakopmund to be registered with the Namibian Tourist Board in 1996, and since that time we have built up an enviable reputation for comfort and hospitality, for our impressive standard of service, and our ideal location close to the beach and at the heart of Swakopmund. We have recently refurbished all the guest rooms and landscaped the garden to further improve the ambience and tranquility which our guests value so much. During the day and evening, guests can live the high-life with all that Swakopmund has to offer, but when they return to Brigadoon, they do so to a haven of peace and quiet. In the morning, wake up to a full English breakfast served, as always, on the private patio overlooking the garden.

Located close to the Windhoek city centre, in a quiet and peaceful area, the Olive Grove Guesthouse is ideal to start and finish your journey through Namibia. This boutique guesthouse combines stylish architecture, simple but carefully selected decoration and personal service. Olive Grove Guesthouse caters for every need of the most discerning traveller, with emphasis on simplicity and elegance. The 11 en-suite rooms are spacious and the cemented brick cupboards and bed bases are beautifully rounded off with thick mattresses, quality linen, cane basket drawers, wrought-iron furniture, and as a special touch, different Moroccan lampshades and a silver Moroccan teapot. Care was taken to ensure that the mini-bar is stocked with everything from wine to nuts and that every room has proper filter coffee and a plunger. The contrast between the rustic cement, off-white linen, old silver and luxurious touches, is enchanting. One of Olive Grove’s main features is the large veranda in front of the rooms. The inside lounge is tastefully decorated, with comfortable chairs and a fireplace. The open-plan kitchen allows the guests to enjoy a glass of wine in the lounge while the chefs prepare dinner. Alternatively, for those who prefer some privacy, meals can be enjoyed in their rooms or on the patio.

A guest computer is available, for people to check their emails and stay in touch with family and friends back home and because staying in touch is so important we ensured free wifi is available throughout the property & in the privacy your room. The garden is rounded off with a designer plunge pool, comfortable chairs to enjoy the tranquillity and a small sun lounge.

Immersed in lush vegetation, flowing ponds and shaded by towering green trees the guest house is situated on a hill with breath-taking views. The facilities we provide is a sparkling blue pool, large fully- equipped bar, fantastic braai facilities, secure parking, pool table, a complimentary coffee table, Wi-Fi, jungle gym for kids, a magnificent thatched lapa and endless green lawns. The remarkable stone buildings including the rooms, is wrapped in a timeless ambience, each beautifully decorated with historical artifacts. It is an ideal stopover for safaris into the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park.

Kashana is based in a historic building constructed in 1907 as a casino for local mine-workers. It is thought that the house probably gained its name from the surrounding bush savannah which resembled a wide open plain or ‘Kashana’ in the Owambo language. The years took their toll on the building and after painstaking restoration to its former glory it once again reflects its German colonial heritage and was re-opened in 2007.  Today, the building is the centerpiece of a Lodge-style Guesthouse with a novel and attractive bar and a popular all-day à la carte restaurant, frequented not only by residents, but also by passing travellers and local townspeople, all enjoying the tranquil shade of the garden courtyard.

The German and English run Guesthouse “Zur Waterkant” offers a relaxing atmosphere amidst the picturesque harbour town of Lüderitz. The guesthouse is situated in a quiet part of the town and offers 4 spacious, en-suite rooms with twin beds as well as two self-catering rooms consisting of two rooms each with up to four beds, bathroom and small kitchenette. The Alte Villa Guesthouse has its home in a historic Villa build in colonial style in 1909. It offers its guests a cosy, warm atmosphere in five double rooms and one family bungalow. Also available is WiFi, a washing machine, a dryer and of course secure parking

The Schützenhaus Guesthouse, established in 1907, is the oldest German Club in Southern Africa. It was privatised after 98 years and is now a prestigious guesthouse in Keetmanshoop. It is situated in the Pastorie Street and its tranquil surroundings are a true resting place for the weary traveler. It is the ideal base station for guests wishing to explore the Mesosaurus Fossil Trail, Quiver Tree Forest, Fish River Canyon, Giant’s Playground and other tourist attractions in and around Keetmanshoop.
