Cornerstone Guesthouse is a small, private and peaceful bed and breakfast an easy walk to the sea and the town centre of Swakopmund on Namibia’s fascinating Skeleton Coast.  Occupying a quiet corner of Swakopmund’s old town near the marine museum and the old brewery, Cornerstone Guesthouse offers the charm and intimacy of a family-run B&B combined with the modern amenities of a luxury hotel.

Meike’s Guesthouse opened its doors in 2001 with 4 double rooms. Since then, the establishment has expanded and now offers a total of 22 beds. Through our over 25 years of experience in hospitality, we have a deep understanding of what travellers are looking for. Our rooms are not only spacious and stylish, but also equipped with anything a holidaymaker could need. We have five individually styled, homey double rooms (twin bedded) and two spacious family units (two separate bedrooms, one shared bathroom). In addition to this, we also have one large, fully-equipped 2-bedroom self-catering apartment on offer.

Kashana is based in a historic building constructed in 1907 as a casino for local mine-workers. It is thought that the house probably gained its name from the surrounding bush savannah which resembled a wide open plain or ‘Kashana’ in the Owambo language. The years took their toll on the building and after painstaking restoration to its former glory it once again reflects its German colonial heritage and was re-opened in 2007.  Today, the building is the centerpiece of a Lodge-style Guesthouse with a novel and attractive bar and a popular all-day à la carte restaurant, frequented not only by residents, but also by passing travellers and local townspeople, all enjoying the tranquil shade of the garden courtyard.

Located on Walvis Bay’s beautiful Lagoon, Oyster Box Guesthouse offers 12 rooms of classic comfort for holiday tourists, business people, families, and water sports enthusiasts. After partaking in Oyster Box’s hearty breakfast, you can unwind on our open deck and spend the day soaking up the African sun. At the end of the day indulge in our customary “sundowner” in our sheltered lounge and bar where you might just meet somebody interesting from the other side of the world.

The German and English run Guesthouse “Zur Waterkant” offers a relaxing atmosphere amidst the picturesque harbour town of Lüderitz. The guesthouse is situated in a quiet part of the town and offers 4 spacious, en-suite rooms with twin beds as well as two self-catering rooms consisting of two rooms each with up to four beds, bathroom and small kitchenette. We offer free Wi-Fi. All rooms are stylishly furnished and have a balcony with fantastic view onto the ocean, the harbour and the bays of Lüderitz.
