The Schützenhaus Guesthouse, established in 1907, is the oldest German Club in Southern Africa. It was privatised after 98 years and is now a prestigious guesthouse in Keetmanshoop. It is situated in the Pastorie Street and its tranquil surroundings are a true resting place for the weary traveler. It is the ideal base station for guests wishing to explore the Mesosaurus Fossil Trail, Quiver Tree Forest, Fish River Canyon, Giant’s Playground and other tourist attractions in and around Keetmanshoop. Here you can re-live the good old times. It boasts a selection of 26 en suite rooms with good Wifi connectivity, TV and a coffee/tea station, an A la Carte restaurant, private bar, and barbecue facilities for the self-catering guest. We also offer 4 camping facilities with ablutions and a swimming pool.

Quiver trees, Nama culture, rugged landscape and an impressive sweeping rock formation characterise Canyon Village. On the banks of the Orange River, which forms the natural border between South Africa and Namibia, you will find Orange River Lodge. The lodge is situated in the border town of Noordoewer – Namibia and is perfectly located between Cape Town and Windhoek to offer travellers a welcome rest. We offer 4 double self-catering rooms, 2 double rooms and 6 family rooms. All rooms have a private bathroom, air-conditioning and tea/coffee making facilities. The Lodge offers free Wi-Fi and is pet friendly. Relax and enjoy our hospitality in our thatched lapa restaurant where we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our bar offers the typical friendly Namibian atmosphere. We offer activities like fishing, canoeing and for visitors with an interest in the history of Namibia there are a number of interesting sites to visit. Other activities can be arranged on request.  Orange River lodge borders the Ai-Ais-Richtersveld Transfrontier Conservation Park which spans some of the most spectacular scenery of the arid and desert environments in southern Africa. The park is characterised by a unique and impressive variety of plant species.

Hobas is the hub to the famous Fish River Canyon, the second largest canyon worldwide. Hobas offers 6 bush chalets and 14 campsites and is the ideal stay over for hikers wanting to accomplish the well-known Fish River Canyon Hike! The fantastic views from this majestic, gigantic ravine, make it a popular hiking destination. The Fish River is the longest interior river in Namibia and it cuts deep into the dry, stony plateau, which is sparsely covered with hardy drought resistant succulents. Public view points can be found around the camp site. Guests stay in 6 well-placed bush chalets en-suite.
There are also 16 shady campsites equipped with braai areas, water taps and lights. Showers/baths, toilets and wash basins are provided in the ablution block. There is no mains electricity and the site is powered by a generator from 6am-midday, and from 5pm – 10pm. Basic groceries, beer, wines and tinned food can be bought at the kiosk. Visitors must be aware that additional park fees must be paid on arrival.

Anticipation builds up as you turn off the main gravel road toward Canyon Lodge. The soft colours of apricot sand merging with the pale green of euphorbias is a prelude to the loveliness of the lodge surrounds. As you turn a final bend, the lodge comes into view. Goibib Mountain Lodge is a situated in southern Namibia and is a useful stopover for those travelling between South Africa and Namibia. It offers a tranquil getaway right in the heart of the Great Karas Mountains. The Karas region is the southernmost, and the driest area in Namibia. It is flanked by the Atlantic Ocean to the west, South Africa and Botswana to the east and the Orange River border lies to the south. The beauty of the surrounding veld, can be enjoyed in the morning or afternoon, on foot or from the one of the lodge’s air-conditioned four-wheel-drive (4WD) vehicles. A variety of game can be viewed, including kudu, springbok, gemsbok and ostriches, as well as smaller species such as rock dassies and the elusive steenbok. Canyon Roadhouse has more than just a fascinating interior. Large attractive rooms, positioned around courtyards, make the Roadhouse a comfortable – and convenient – base when visiting the Fish River Canyon, just 14 kilometres away. The canyon resort has a swimming pool, a campsite, a terrace to enjoy Roadhouse specialities like Amarula Cheesecake (and the best cappuccino for miles around) and a walking trail through the hills.

Alte Kalkofen Lodge is situated 100 km west from the small historical town Keetmanshoop en-route the main tar road to Luderitz in the Southern part of Namibia. The lodge is set in a beautiful natural African garden where vast open spaces effortlessly combine with the rocky desert area. The lodge itself offers 10 bungalows as well as two rooms in the farm house, all overlooking large camel thorn trees growing in the river bed.
