Accommodation Info
The Etusis Nature and Game Reserve was gradually expanded to its 21,000 hectares of today. We consciously avoid fences, which suppress the natural migration of the game species through the Reserve. The Lodge was built a little later in the heart of the reserve – with a gentle ecologically sustainable tourism concept, in which mankind understands herself as a guest. This has created jobs for the local community and, last but not least, we are trying to give each of our guests an impression of the uniqueness of Namibian nature and the necessity to preserve it.

Das Etusis Natur- und Wildreservat wurde schrittweise auf seine heutigen 21.000 Hektar erweitert.
Anders als die meisten Wildreservate in Namibia verzichten wir bewusst auf Zäune, die die natürlichen Wanderungen der Wildnis unterdrücken: Zebras, Antilopen, Leoparden und viele andere Tiere haben auf Etusis völlige Bewegungsfreiheit. Die Lodge wurde wenig später im Herzen des Reservats errichtet – mit einem sanften ökologisch nachhaltigen Tourismuskonzept, in dem sich die Menschheit als Gast versteht. Dies hat Arbeitsplätze für die lokale Gemeinschaft geschaffen und nicht zuletzt versuchen wir, jedem unserer Gäste einen Eindruck von der Einzigartigkeit der namibischen Natur und der Notwendigkeit, sie zu erhalten, zu vermitteln.”
