Located in seclusion, on the rim of the majestic Etosha Salt Pan and far away from the public self-drive routes, Onkoshi provides a beautiful escape within the Etosha National Park. A visit to the GocheGanas Wellness Village is a unique experience. The tent houses of Teufelskrallen Lodge are located on the first western Kalahari dune and offer its guests a panoramic view over the endless vastness and the sprawling Kalahari dunes. The fully-furnished and comfortably equipped tented houses come with a large view deck and their own bathroom. Each bathroom is connected to the tent by a short boardwalk. Reception, restaurant and swimming pool are located in the old farmhouse at a distance of 3km from the tents. During hikes and game drives, guests can experience the breathtaking beauty of the Kalahari with the 30m dunes and the rich wildlife stock.

The Etusis Nature and Game Reserve was gradually expanded to its 21,000 hectares of today. We consciously avoid fences, which suppress the natural migration of the game species through the Reserve.  The Lodge was built a little later in the heart of the reserve – with a gentle ecologically sustainable tourism concept, in which mankind understands herself as a guest. This has created jobs for the local community and, last but not least, we are trying to give each of our guests an impression of the uniqueness of Namibian nature and the necessity to preserve it.
