Nestled on a rock terrace high up on the slope of the Waterberg, the chalets of the Waterberg Plateau Lodge afford grand vistas of the endless Kalahari bush savannah below. Each of the eight double room chalets sits between red sandstone rocks in the midst of green bush, with total privacy guaranteed. Acacias shade the terrace; a plunge pool filled with spring water provides cooling and attracts birds and small game.

Kambaku Safari Lodge is situated about 20-25 km north of the Waterberg Nature Reserve on a 80 km² Wildlife Resort. The Private Bush Suite is situated in the open Acacia thornveld within the secluded wilderness area of the Okonjima valley with a backdrop of the sandstone Omboroko Mountains. It is approximately 3.5km from the Plains Camp and 500m from the Bush Camp. Our area is home to a widely representative cross-section of Namibian wildlife. It is a wonderland for lovers of both fauna and flora alike. Animals can be viewed by sitting in one of the many elevated hides located at various waterholes around the ranch. Alternatively, relax on our deck at the pool, which looks onto a waterhole. Different species of animals visit this waterhole day and night, when the waterhole is illuminated. The area around the Waterberg is also well-known amongst bird lovers.
