Our area is home to a widely representative cross-section of Namibian wildlife. It is a wonderland for lovers of both fauna and flora alike. Animals can be viewed by sitting in one of the many elevated hides located at various waterholes around the ranch. Alternatively, relax on our deck at the pool, which looks onto a waterhole. Different species of animals visit this waterhole day and night, when the waterhole is illuminated. The area around the Waterberg is also well-known amongst bird lovers.
Waterberg Guest Farm offers four comfortably furnished rooms and four bush bungalows, en suite. A lounge with a fireplace and a selection of books await you on cold winter nights. In the afternoon guests are treated with coffee and tea. Afterwards you may want to join our guide on a drive: visit the Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF), go to the ‘Little Serengeti’ with an abundance of wildlife, or enjoy your sundowner at one of our dams or waterholes against the backdrop of the majestic Waterberg Plateau.

Waterberg Accommodation
The Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF), which was already founded in the year of Namibian independence in 1990, is fighting for the survival of the cheetah in its natural habitat and is worldwide the number one address when it comes to these fast, African big cats. For this purpose, the CCF is running the renowned Research and Education Centre close to Otjiwarongo and the Waterberg, which combines research on and education about the fascinating cats. Here scientists, researchers, but most importantly visitors and normal cheetah fans get an interesting insight into the life of the fastest land mammal on earth. The Babson Guesthouse is an exclusive, luxurious accommodation run by the Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF). It offers room for six guests and thus guarantees a very personalized service.
Situated approximately 43 km from Otjiwarongo, Namibia – Frans Indongo Lodge is the ideal stop when travelling between Windhoek and Etosha National Park or the Caprivi. The Private Bush Suite is situated in the open Acacia thornveld within the secluded wilderness area of the Okonjima valley with a backdrop of the sandstone Omboroko Mountains. It is approximately 3.5km from the Plains Camp and 500m from the Bush Camp. Located on the edge of a natural waterhole, its two separate, luxury, en-suite bedrooms under a double-volume thatched roof can accommodate a family or group of four (4 pax: one group only).

The buildings of Waterberg Wilderness Lodge shelter in a long valley in the midst of the Waterberg mountain range. Built from red Waterberg sandstone they nestle under enormous old trees.
