Namib Dune Star Camp

Khan River was originally a cattle farm but was converted to a game farm and tourist destination a number of years ago. All internal fences were removed allowing the game to roam freely. For the last 15 years we have been building up game stock on our 15 000 acre game farm which has no high fence thereby allowing the animals to move at will around the Okawi Conservancy of which we are members & which covers an area of over half a million acres.

Located on the edge of the southern Kalahari in the mixed tree and shrub savannah, Bagatelle is crisscrossed by huge red sand dunes. The buildings of Waterberg Wilderness Lodge shelter in a long valley in the midst of the Waterberg mountain range. Built from red Waterberg sandstone they nestle under enormous old trees. The atmosphere in the mature, well-kept garden with its two pavilions, many cool and shady places and an immured spring water basin lined by giant bamboo is idyllic.

Epupa Camp offers you a relaxing yet exhilarating few days of personalised service and excellent meals in the seclusion of a lush riverine wilderness of Ana trees, wild figs, Makalani palms and Baobabs. It is situated on the southern bank of the Kunene River, from which the Kunene Region in the northwest of Namibia, takes its name. Epupa Camp offers three kinds of accommodation, namely tented rooms, self-catering tented-campsites and traditional campsites.

The Dead Valley lodge is situated inside the Namib – Naukluft Park, in-between Seriem and Elim Dune. The free standing climate-controlled luxury tented chalets each with a panoramic view of the Namib Desert with towering red sand dunes, rugged mountain ranges, and arid desert savannahs.

Built in an environmentally sensitive manner, primarily from wood, canvas and thatch, in an attractive ‘afro-village’ style, Sossus Dune Lodge offers guests an evocative and life changing experience. Situated within the Namib Naukluft Park, guests benefit from being able to reach Sossusvlei before sunrise, and stay until after sunset.

Ugab Terrace Lodge is set deep in the heart of a rare and untouched mystery situated within Namibia’s famous tourist attractions. The lodge provides a unique African experience with friendly staff and delicious cuisine that will make visitors feel at home. Strikingly set on the Andoni plains, one kilometre from Etosha National Park’s King Nehale gate is Etosha King Nehale. The lodge effortlessly portrays the shape of a Nguni cattle head, with chalets stunningly furrowed to the north and south, from the central area like a bull’s horns.

Tsauchab River Camp guest farm with its exclusive chalets and private camping sites is situated on the banks of the Tsauchab River, surrounded by the imposing Naukluft and Tsaris Mountains.  The Tsauchab River, with its giant wild fig trees and sparkling clear springs, is the main source of water when in flood to Sesriem Canyon and Sossusvlei.
