If there was ever an enchanted garden, this is it. Entering the Kalahari Farmhouse is like stepping into a magical enclave or an oasis in the desert – far away from the world. It urges you to take off shoes, lie on the soft grass, open a book and relax. The ‘cottagey’ chalets with colourful patchwork quilts, fireplaces and oodles of charm look onto the garden lined with towering palms. Birds flutter through the trees, water runs in the streamlets and the feeling of peace pervades the intimate Kalahari resort. Well-positioned on the outskirts of Stampriet where life-giving artesian water spurts to the surface, the Farmhouse enjoys this generous boon in the Kalahari Desert.

Ouhave Country Home is situated in the north-east of Namibia about 100 km away from the Waterberg Plateau. The guest farm is run by the owners, who also breed with the indigenous Nguni cattle on their farm and who are happy to give guests insight into typical Namibian farm life. Elevated on wooden decks, with panoramic views over one of Onguma’s most beautiful waterholes is the new Onguma Camp Kala. With its conical, mud plastered central tower resembling a termite mound and the whole camp elevated on wooden stilts – it is set to raise the bench- mark to a whole new level.  The thatched camp is centered around game viewing with numerous vantage points to take it all in – be it the comfortable lounge, the intimate cocktail bar or the beautiful deck, which is sunny by day and warmed by a fire pit at night. The dining area has an open plan ‘show’ kitchen and all-day pantry to ensure everyone feels right at home. For guests who want to be more active there is a gym, whilst those who want to relax, can while away the hours in comfort in the ground-level photographic hide, enjoy a massage in the treatment room or practice yoga on the yoga deck.
Camp Kala consists of just four guest Suites, linked by raised walkways, and although the lodge is perfect for exclusive use for 8 to 12 guests, the 4 suites can also be booked individually. Spacious and private, the open-plan suites have sumptuous twin or king-sized beds with a state-of-the-art air-cooling system. The comfortable seating area is equipped with a fully stocked personal bar. Each suite has its own deck with fire pit, outdoor shower and wood-fired hot tub. There is a walkway to the private, shaded sala with a king- size outdoor day bed – perfectly placed for an armchair safari or to ‘sleep out’ under the stars.

Hobatere Lodge is strategically located 65 km north of Kamanjab on the western border of the Etosha National Park. The lodge has an airstrip and is situated in a concession area of 8,808 ha which is home to a wide selection of game, including elephant, giraffe, eland and Hartmann’s zebra. Thatched roofs keep the well-appointed chalets cool and offer shade against the heat of the African savannah. A dip in the pool refreshes after a day of game viewing. Six cosy chalets (Rondavels) as well as six comfortable, adjoining rooms (bungalows) ensure a pleasant stay. The en-suite bathrooms are equipped with a shower, toilet and washbasin plus complimentary toiletries. Your ‘second home in the wild’ is furnished with a desk and a coffee and tea station, and it sports a deck at the front. Hobatere Lodge is powered entirely by solar panels. Therefore the rooms have no sockets for electrical kettles. Instead, hot water flasks are provided for guests to enjoy tea or coffee with homemade biscuits in the comfort of their rooms.

The lodge is nestled between the boundaries of the famous Namib Naukluft Park in Namibia. You will find us halfway between Solitaire and Sesriem, the gateway to Sossusvlei and Deadvlei Pan. The tent houses of Teufelskrallen Lodge are located on the first western Kalahari dune and offer its guests a panoramic view over the endless vastness and the sprawling Kalahari dunes. The fully-furnished and comfortably equipped tented houses come with a large view deck and their own bathroom. Each bathroom is connected to the tent by a short boardwalk. Reception, restaurant and swimming pool are located in the old farmhouse at a distance of 3km from the tents. During hikes and game drives, guests can experience the breathtaking beauty of the Kalahari with the 30m dunes and the rich wildlife stock.

Torgos Lodge is located in the South of Namibia adjoining the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. The lodge is alongside the C15 route, 7 km from the Mata Mata border post. Situated alongside the dry Auob River bed, the stylish main building (Lapa) is constructed from stone and thatch and has a lounge, bar, and dining area. Outside the Lapa is a large stone terrace, a group barbeque area (braai boma) and swimming pool overlooking a waterhole in the riverbed. Accommodation consists of 10 units, sleeping two people each on twin beds. There are eight standard tented or stone chalets and two luxury stone chalets. Four units have basic self catering facilities. The surroundings are typical of the Kalahari region, the dry river bed lined by large camelthorn trees, red sand dunes and sparse vegetation. The lodge is within a 11000 Ha game camp hosting a wide variety of game, notably Gemsbok, Blue Wildebeest, Springbuck, Eland and Kudu. and many more. There is also abundant bird life for the avid bird watchers. including a breeding vulture colony.

The Private Bush Suite is situated in the open Acacia thornveld within the secluded wilderness area of the Okonjima valley with a backdrop of the sandstone Omboroko Mountains. It is approximately 3.5km from the Plains Camp and 500m from the Bush Camp. Located on the edge of a natural waterhole, its two separate, luxury, en-suite bedrooms under a double-volume thatched roof can accommodate a family or group of four (4 pax: one group only).

Opuwo means “finished” or “up to here and no further”. The town is the gateway to Koakoland and is the administrative hub of the Kunene Region. Opuwo Country Hotel is situated on a hilltop just outside of town.  The lodge is within easy reach of Kaoko-Otavi, Epupa Falls and Swartbooisdrift.
