Between Kaokoland and the Skeleton Coast, where the flat-topped Etendeka mountains and the carpet of rich red rock greet the tributaries of the Uniab River, lies Palmwag Lodge and Camp. Amid swaying makalani palms and robust mopane trees nourished by underground water, the lodge overlooks the sweeping northern Damaraland landscape peppered with green euphorbias.

Khan River was originally a cattle farm but was converted to a game farm and tourist destination a number of years ago. All internal fences were removed allowing the game to roam freely. For the last 15 years we have been building up game stock on our 15 000 acre game farm which has no high fence thereby allowing the animals to move at will around the Okawi Conservancy of which we are members & which covers an area of over half a million acres.

Goibib Mountain Lodge is a situated in southern Namibia and is a useful stopover for those travelling between South Africa and Namibia. It offers a tranquil getaway right in the heart of the Great Karas Mountains. The Karas region is the southernmost, and the driest area in Namibia. It is flanked by the Atlantic Ocean to the west, South Africa and Botswana to the east and the Orange River border lies to the south. The beauty of the surrounding veld, can be enjoyed in the morning or afternoon, on foot or from the one of the lodge’s air-conditioned four-wheel-drive (4WD) vehicles. A variety of game can be viewed, including kudu, springbok, gemsbok and ostriches, as well as smaller species such as rock dassies and the elusive steenbok. Goibib Mountain Lodge has plenty of walking trails in and around the farm, and are now specializing in spotlit night game drives.

Nestled between rounded granite boulders, Canyon Lodge’s quaint century-old farmhouse reception, verdant garden and cool pond invite and welcome you into the enchanted enclave.  Away from the world, there is a gentle rhythm of peace to find here, reaffirming the goodness of life. For those just wanting a break from the road, lounge at the pool, take a snooze in the coolness of your thatch-and-stone chalet or dip into a book on the terrace. AOBA is a word from the San (Bushman) languages which means “when the sun goes down“.  Situated in the forested area of a riverine environment, the recently renovated Onguma Etosha Aoba Camp offers high thatched ceilings, an impressive wine cellar to complement delicious meals served under the stars, a refreshing swimming pool and an elevated viewing deck both overlooking a large and active waterhole. Onguma Etosha Aoba Camp is unfenced and therefore no children under the age of 7 years will be allowed.  Game drives are conducted on open safari vehicles and therefore for safety reasons, children under 10 years are not permitted on game drive vehicles.

There are 17 en-suite Cabanas sleeping two each. There are Two Family en-suite Cabanas sleeping 4 each. Furthermore we have one Honeymoon Suite sleeping Double only. Moreover Accommodation in Southern Namibia at Provenance Camp has air conditioning with en-suite bathrooms. At the same time the Cabanas are available on a bed only basis. In Addition all meals are served in our restaurant situated on a hill overlooking the vast Orange River. The Cabanas are not self-catering all meals available at the on site Restaurant. The Cabana Accommodation in Southern Namibia is only 13km from the Namibian Border. Therefore making it the perfect stop over on your long journey.
