The camp offers camping accommodation on 4 exclusive campsites, each site with own toilet, shower – cold and hot water – and small shaded kitchen area with scullery and own fireplace. A small reception area has been built and provides the visitor with the check in and rules of the site as well as wood. Light is provided via a 12 Volt DC solar operated system, no 220 volt is available on site
Water is supplied from a borehole close by but is not of drinking quality, water can only be used for cleaning, showering, toilet etc.
Each site can accommodate up to 3 vehicles and the maximum clients per site is 6 guests. Total number of guests at the campsites at any one time is 24. No guest WiFi is available. The camp is furthermore connected via VHF radio and repeater to Hoanib Valley Camp, this can be of value of somebody getting lost or has a problem in the area

Camp Syncro is located right at the edge of the Kunene River. It is a remote paradise where you can find a place of recreation, far off civilization. The Camp is only reachable by 4×4. Hidden among large grey granite boulders and mopane trees, Hoada Campsite has the trimmings of a serene home in the wilderness. A well-maintained gravel road, requiring a high clearance vehicle, leads to the camp, located approximately 75 km west of Kamanjab. Pitch your tent in one of the spacious campsites or book one of our 4 permanent tented units. Each site has ample space for roof tents and is equipped with a kitchen area and BBQ facilities, a flush toilet and an open-air shower with warm water. On hot afternoons, take a dip in the pool nestled between the rocks and enjoy a drink on the wooden decks around it.
Ndhovu means Elephant in the local language. Get a taste of Namibia’s adventure and find out more about our nearby national parks such as Mahango Park and Buffalo Park. The parks are part of the Bwabwata National Park and the Transfrontier Park KAZA. The Lodge is overlooking the Buffalo National Park and is also close to the Popa Falls.
Namushasha River Lodge celebrates the wonders of the Zambezi water world with accommodation fit for a king. There’s a magic, a feeling or a charm that enraptures you in these northern realms. With elephants, hippos, myriad bird species, waterlilies and African bush, a visit to Namushasha provides an enriching adventure into Nature – to the accompaniment of the chiming of reed frogs, bird calls, hippo grunts and the soothing sound of a boat skimming through water. Namushasha’s impressive central entrance, designed in true African style with a wooden chandelier and carved animals, leads guests into the attractive lodge set between the trees. Close by is the Namushasha River Campsite. Here you can set up camp on the grassy bank under old grandfather trees and breathe in the spirit of the river. Raise your glass with friends around the warmth of the flames next to the reed-lined river. Here the bulrushes that locals and elephants eat grow and the day and night water lilies float. Campers are more than welcome to enjoy the swimming pool, then dine at the Namushasha River Lodge Restaurant as close as the hop of the river bird.
Waterberg Camp is situated at the foot of the Waterberg Plateau Park and apart from various accommodation facilities it offers a restaurant, a swimming pool, a fuel station and a little shop. Main attraction is the Waterberg Plateau Park. Guests can take part in game drives as well as guided hikes on the top of the plateau.
Opuwo means “finished” or “up to here and no further”. The town is the gateway to Koakoland and is the administrative hub of the Kunene Region. Opuwo Country Hotel is situated on a hilltop just outside of town. The lodge is within easy reach of Kaoko-Otavi, Epupa Falls and Swartbooisdrift.
Camp Aussicht is a unique Rest camp in the Kaokoveld situated south of Opuwo. The camp is located with an extraordinary
view of the valley below and in a beautiful quiet and isolated position on the top of a hill. There are 6 campsites, each with 1-2 bucket showers, 1-2 pit latrine, running water and a fireplace. No power. There are also 4 twin rooms with running water and energy. Bucket showers and pit latrines are outside to be shared.

The Kavango River Lodge, with a spectacular view over the Okavango River and flood plains of southern Angola, caters for both tourists and business people. The chalets have en-suite facilities, air-con, TV-4 channels, refrigerators, hotplates, kettles, cutlery, crockery. Breakfast will be served in the restaurant and you can enjoy Buffet or a-la-carte for dinner. Also a mini-bar available. The ideal place for nature and bird watchers.
“The name //Garas is the nama word (a local language) which means Quiver tree. This is a very basic, but clean campsite with ablution facilities, that has been decorated in an attractive manner. There are many quiver trees between amazing rock formations, and several aloe plants. Wood, water and snacks are available, but everything else you need to supply yourself. The owner of the rest camp is also an artist and immediately when turning off the B1 towards the campsite one can find several sculptures made from all sorts of materials along the road. Day visitors are welcome to visit this slightly different Quivertree forest.

Khowarib Lodge nestles on the banks of the Hoanib River in the magnificent Khowarib Gorge in north-west Namibia. The 14 canvas en-suite Chalets are a short walk from the lodge to the river bank and comprise either twin or double bed sleeping arrangements. Viewing platforms extend from the front of each tent shaded by the plentiful Mopani trees but affording splendid views of the gorge. The bathrooms are spacious and well equipped and add to the feeling of indulgence and relaxation that Khowarib Lodge offers.

One of the highlights of Kaokoland in the far northern reaches of Namibia, Epupa is a magical belt of makalani palm forest on the perennial Kunene River. There’s something special about this Kaokoland refuge 180km north of Opuwo, where the Kunene River plunges into the gorge below. Two hundred metres upstream from the cascading falls, Omarunga Lodge is a cosy thatched lodge on the riverbank set under the palms, and the perfect place from which to experience Epupa enchantment. Set under verdant trees on the banks of the Kunene River, Serra Cafema is one of the most remote camps in southern Africa. Guests can truly disconnect, unwind and relax to the sound of rushing water, and explore one of the driest deserts in the world. Respectful interaction with the semi-nomadic Himba community, fascinating nature walks, boating (water levels permitting), and low-impact guided quad-bike excursions complete the experience. The eight chalets are set on elevated decks and crafted in wood, canvas and thatch to create a unique camp that is at one with its surroundings and celebrates the culture of the Himba people.
