The Okonjima African Villa is situated in a secluded wilderness area, 10km from the Plains Camp, overlooking a natural waterhole that’s ideal for wildlife photography and bird watching. The Okonjima Villa is the only lodge situated inside the 55 000acre | 20 000 ha | 200km² private, nature reserve. This safari-chic, thatched villa has two en-suite, luxury bedrooms in the main house and two separate private, luxury mini suites, which together can accommodate up to eight adults and four children.

The Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF), which was already founded in the year of Namibian independence in 1990, is fighting for the survival of the cheetah in its natural habitat and is worldwide the number one address when it comes to these fast, African big cats. For this purpose, the CCF is running the renowned Research and Education Centre close to Otjiwarongo and the Waterberg, which combines research on and education about the fascinating cats. Here scientists, researchers, but most importantly visitors and normal cheetah fans get an interesting insight into the life of the fastest land mammal on earth. Hamakari Guestfarm at the Waterberg is a typical Namibian hunting and guest farm. Hamakari is a family owned business run by the well-known Diekmann family. The guest farm offers 8 guest rooms with en-suite bathrooms and 4 camp sites. Visitors have the chance to do game drives and get to know the farm business.

The Private Bush Suite is situated in the open Acacia thornveld within the secluded wilderness area of the Okonjima valley with a backdrop of the sandstone Omboroko Mountains. It is approximately 3.5km from the Plains Camp and 500m from the Bush Camp. Located on the edge of a natural waterhole, its two separate, luxury, en-suite bedrooms under a double-volume thatched roof can accommodate a family or group of four (4 pax: one group only).
Kambaku Safari Lodge is situated about 20-25 km north of the Waterberg Nature Reserve on a 80 km² Wildlife Resort. The lodge faces a waterhole and is surrounded by woodlands of big thorn bushes and Omumborumbonga (leadwood) trees. Kambaku offers 8 double rooms and 2 luxury rooms. Activities include archery, clay pigeon shooting and of course game watching on a horse’s back, by foot when hiking or mountain biking.
