Alte Kalkofen Lodge is situated 100 km west from the small historical town Keetmanshoop en-route the main tar road to Luderitz in the Southern part of Namibia. The lodge is set in a beautiful natural African garden where vast open spaces effortlessly combine with the rocky desert area. The lodge itself offers 10 bungalows as well as two rooms in the farm house, all overlooking large camel thorn trees growing in the river bed. The lodge features its own restaurant where breakfast is served daily. The restaurant is also open to guests for light lunches and home-cooked evening meals.

Tsondab Valley is a private Nature Reserve of 170 km2 bordering the Namib Naukluft Park on two sides. It’s varied landscape impresses with a combination of the red Namib dunes and typical African Camelthorn Savannah.  Tsondab Valley, with its 10 beds, is one of the smallest accommodation establishments of its kind, and this allows the managing owners to personally take care of the needs of each of their guests in an atmosphere of friendly familiarity.
