The Etusis Nature and Game Reserve was gradually expanded to its 21,000 hectares of today. We consciously avoid fences, which suppress the natural migration of the game species through the Reserve. The Lodge was built a little later in the heart of the reserve – with a gentle ecologically sustainable tourism concept, in which mankind understands herself as a guest. This has created jobs for the local community and, last but not least, we are trying to give each of our guests an impression of the uniqueness of Namibian nature and the necessity to preserve it.

Alte Kalkofen Lodge is situated 100 km west from the small historical town Keetmanshoop en-route the main tar road to Luderitz in the Southern part of Namibia. The lodge is set in a beautiful natural African garden where vast open spaces effortlessly combine with the rocky desert area. The lodge itself offers 10 bungalows as well as two rooms in the farm house, all overlooking large camel thorn trees growing in the river bed. The lodge features its own restaurant where breakfast is served daily. The restaurant is also open to guests for light lunches and home-cooked evening meals.
Onguma’s Luxury Tamboti Campsite is impressive and delightful to all campers. The 25 Luxury campsites are all nestled in the trees of the Onguma Reserve. Each camper can enjoy their own private space in the bush. these luxury campsite have their own private ablution facilities. A spacious shower room, separate toilet and covered washing-up areas will ensure you are comfortable. all units are equipped with electrical plugs so our campers can keep their drinks cold and their cameras charged. There is a stunning main area with restaurant where you can enjoy a hearty meal while looking out across the waterhole. Although the Onguma Tamboti Luxury Campsite is fenced in, adult supervision of children is required at all times.
Goibib Mountain Lodge is a situated in southern Namibia and is a useful stopover for those travelling between South Africa and Namibia. It offers a tranquil getaway right in the heart of the Great Karas Mountains. The Karas region is the southernmost, and the driest area in Namibia. It is flanked by the Atlantic Ocean to the west, South Africa and Botswana to the east and the Orange River border lies to the south. The beauty of the surrounding veld, can be enjoyed in the morning or afternoon, on foot or from the one of the lodge’s air-conditioned four-wheel-drive (4WD) vehicles. A variety of game can be viewed, including kudu, springbok, gemsbok and ostriches, as well as smaller species such as rock dassies and the elusive steenbok. Goibib Mountain Lodge has plenty of walking trails in and around the farm, and are now specializing in spotlit night game drives.
Erongo Region Accommodation

Khan River was originally a cattle farm but was converted to a game farm and tourist destination a number of years ago. All internal fences were removed allowing the game to roam freely. For the last 15 years we have been building up game stock on our 15 000 acre game farm which has no high fence thereby allowing the animals to move at will around the Okawi Conservancy of which we are members & which covers an area of over half a million acres.
The Ameib Rhino Sanctuary which is part of the Erongo Mountain Rhino Sanctuary Trust, is a specially protected wilderness area with guest house in the Erongo Mountains, offering 10 guest rooms and 10 camping sites. The farm is among other things popular for two interesting sights: The Bull’s Party with the elephant head, a collection of impressing granite rock formations and the Phillipp’s Cave, an old cave of the San where they created many interesting rock paintings, including the very popular white elephant.
Situated between Usakos and Omaruru amidst massive granite boulders overlooking the magnificent Erongo Mountain Range is AiAiba Lodge. Hohenstein Lodge is located close to the Hohenstein (2310m), the highest peak of the majestic Erongo Mountains. The Lodge offers 14 rooms, a restaurant and a swimming pool. Spitzkoppe Mountain Tented Camp is situated only one km from the beautiful Spitzkoppe Mountains. The campsite boasts pre-erected safari tents, and camping sites ideal for families and groups. The area is popular with mountain climbers, hikers and star gazers. The camp offers comfortable safari tents, already set up and wait for your arrival and camping sites with private bathrooms, showers and electrical points. Each tent sleeps three people and has a private bathroom with running water and flush toilets. Bar and Restaurant is available however guest can also bring their own catering equipment and staff are available to assist with any requests. Braai facilities and washing up areas are provided at each campsite. Guests can enjoy sunset tours a guided drive or walk to the popular Bushmen Paintings or mountain biking.

Spitzkoppen Lodge lies amidst the granite boulders of the the beautiful Spitzkoppe scenery. The Lodge offers 15 generously spaced chalets, each with private bathroom and covered outside viewing deck. The buildings are linked with elevated walkways all constructed to be wheelchair friendly and minimise the impact on the environment. The dining, lounge and bar area open onto the split level pool deck and the natural rock pool.
Just west of Omaruru , The Erongo Wild perches amidst the rugged granite kopjes imminent to Namibia’s Erongo Mountains. The lodge is a founder member of the 2,000 square kilometer Erongo Mountain Nature Conservancy, which brings together 30 private landowners in an effort to conserve this diverse area, known for excellent bird watching and hiking.
