Ukwaluudhi Safari Lodge (Uukwa for short) is located northwest of Etosha National Park. We are a private game reserve in the Uukwaluudhi Conservancy that provides guests with a unique, remote experience filled with wildlife and stunning landscape views in the heart of Kaokoland.  We offer safari game drives on our property and cultural excursions to nearby villages which will give you a new perspective on Namibia and the beautiful North West area known as the Kunene Region.

If there was ever an enchanted garden, this is it. Entering the Kalahari Farmhouse is like stepping into a magical enclave or an oasis in the desert – far away from the world. It urges you to take off shoes, lie on the soft grass, open a book and relax. The ‘cottagey’ chalets with colourful patchwork quilts, fireplaces and oodles of charm look onto the garden lined with towering palms. Birds flutter through the trees, water runs in the streamlets and the feeling of peace pervades the intimate Kalahari resort. Well-positioned on the outskirts of Stampriet where life-giving artesian water spurts to the surface, the Farmhouse enjoys this generous boon in the Kalahari Desert.

Right on the doorstep of Namib-Naukluft National Park, not far from Sossusvlei the lodge is ideally suited for exploring the Namib Sand Sea – a World Heritage Site with some of the highest dunes in the world. Both lodges are located in the Namib Tsaris Conservancy, a private nature reserve of over 150,000 hectares, adjacent to NamibRand Nature Reserve in the west.

Shamvura Camp, ‘the place from where rain can be seen’, with its access to more than 20 kilometres of a largely pristine riverine system, is big on birding and fishing activities, while crafts, basketry and boat trips are also on the list.

Khowarib Lodge nestles on the banks of the Hoanib River in the magnificent Khowarib Gorge in north-west Namibia. The 14 canvas en-suite Chalets are a short walk from the lodge to the river bank and comprise either twin or double bed sleeping arrangements. Viewing platforms extend from the front of each tent shaded by the plentiful Mopani trees but affording splendid views of the gorge. The bathrooms are spacious and well equipped and add to the feeling of indulgence and relaxation that Khowarib Lodge offers.

Located on the edge of the southern Kalahari in the mixed tree and shrub savannah, Bagatelle is crisscrossed by huge red sand dunes. On the Eastern fringes of Namibia, the red sands of the Kalahari beckon. Let us introduce you to the place of burnished sands at Kalahari Anib Lodge. Easily accessible by sedan car and 30km from Mariental, this Kalahari lodge is a good overnight stop if travelling between Windhoek and the south or continuing to the Kgalagadi. There’s nothing like feeling the good earth underfoot, so stretch legs on the trails around the lodge, keeping eyes open for Springbok, Zebra and Wildebeest and take the chance to breathe in the character and energy of this distinctive area, feeling closer to the land.

n’Kwazi lodge is situated in the northern part of Namibia, overlooking the Okavango River, only 21km east of Rundu. A gem in this region, with western style bed and breakfast, makes us the obvious choice for your journey between Etosha and Caprivi. We support our local community through developmental and educational programs.

Perched on the rim of the Etendeka Plateau, Grootberg Lodge stands sentinel over the Klip River Valley. The lodge is the ideal midway stopover for visitors travelling between Etosha National Park and Swakopmund, allowing them to experience the true wilderness that is Damaraland. Fourteen cosy twin chalets and two-family units, powered with solar energy, are perched along the edge of the Etendeka Plateau and will make you feel at home. They are built from natural materials to blend into the surroundings. Private decks provide stunning views across the Klip River Valley. Each chalet is equipped with a private bathroom, a desk and a coffee and tea station. There are no electrical outlets, but we have a charging station in the main area of the lodge.
