Bitterwasser is a lodge and famous flying center located south of Windhoek. The Lodge offers accommodation in 22 deluxe bungalows, 14 rondavels and 6 farm house rooms. Bitterwasser is suitable for up to 80 guests. A restaurant and a swimming pool is available. Scenic drives and guided nature dune walk are offered. Bitterwasser is more. Here you can get to know the diversity of Namibia on site: the vastness of the Kalahari with the fine red sand, which the wind has rubbed off all edges, the fauna with giraffes, zebras, springboks, ostriches, wildebeests ….., the crystal clear nights with its cathedral-like starry sky.

Nestled on a rock terrace high up on the slope of the Waterberg, the chalets of the Waterberg Plateau Lodge afford grand vistas of the endless Kalahari bush savannah below. Each of the eight double room chalets sits between red sandstone rocks in the midst of green bush, with total privacy guaranteed. Acacias shade the terrace; a plunge pool filled with spring water provides cooling and attracts birds and small game.

Tsondab Valley is a private Nature Reserve of 170 km2 bordering the Namib Naukluft Park on two sides. It’s varied landscape impresses with a combination of the red Namib dunes and typical African Camelthorn Savannah.  Tsondab Valley, with its 10 beds, is one of the smallest accommodation establishments of its kind, and this allows the managing owners to personally take care of the needs of each of their guests in an atmosphere of friendly familiarity. Zambezi Mubala is a secret river hideaway where water laps the shores of the mighty Zambezi, hippos laugh and the calls of fish eagles pierce the vast blue sky. Leave your vehicle at Zambezi Mubala Camp, south of Katima Mulilo to cruise downriver and enter the enchanted Mubala world. The lodge sings its tributes to the colours of the water, the surrounding riverine vegetation and the clear blue sky, adopting the local Silozi name for colour – ‘Mubala’. A bird-lover’s dream, Zambezi Mubala Lodge is home to over 450 species of birds and hosts the springtime (August – December) visit of one of the largest colonies of carmine bee-eaters in Africa. These bright and cheerful visitors nest along the banks of the majestic Zambezi, filling the air with sound, activity and colour as they flash crimson breasts, swooping and rising into the air in an exuberant burst of energy.

The Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF), which was already founded in the year of Namibian independence in 1990, is fighting for the survival of the cheetah in its natural habitat and is worldwide the number one address when it comes to these fast, African big cats. For this purpose, the CCF is running the renowned Research and Education Centre close to Otjiwarongo and the Waterberg, which combines research on and education about the fascinating cats. Here scientists, researchers, but most importantly visitors and normal cheetah fans get an interesting insight into the life of the fastest land mammal on earth. The Babson Guesthouse is an exclusive, luxurious accommodation run by the Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF). It offers room for six guests and thus guarantees a very personalized service.

n’Kwazi lodge is situated in the northern part of Namibia, overlooking the Okavango River, only 21km east of Rundu. A gem in this region, with western style bed and breakfast, makes us the obvious choice for your journey between Etosha and Caprivi. We support our local community through developmental and educational programs.

Tambuti is a small Lodge beautifully perched above the Kavango River overlooking the floodplain. We are one of the rare lodges looking at the river without getting wet feet, thus we are also open during the flood season, all year round. Tambuti Lodge is at the centre of the two Kavango region East and West, ideally situated in the heart of Rundu overlooking Kavango River.

Complementing the magnificence of a red sand sea, Namib Desert Lodge lies at the foot of ancient fossilized dunes. Make some space for wonder.
