Bambatsi is one of the first and oldest guest farms in Namibia. It is situated 400 km north of Windhoek and lies 2 hours away from the Etosha National Park. You will be welcomed with our traditional “southwest” friendliness and way of life. Our guest farm with its endless horizons, lies about 1234m high on a giant ridge, the natural geologic divide, between the central highland and the Namib desert. Our farm house is built on plateau, that has an awe-inspiring view over the mopane landscape.

Etosha National Park Accommodation
Located just 8 km from the Von Lindequist Gate on the eastern boundary of Etosha National Park, Mushara Lodge is an ideal overnight stop for visitors to the game reserve. The name Mushara is derived from the Purple Pod Terminalia tree which grows abundantly on the lodge grounds and in the surroundings. The thatched public area includes a small library with a selection of good books, a bar with an extensive wine cellar, an airy lounge complete with welcoming fireplace for winter evenings, a dining area and a well stocked curio shop. Great attention has been paid to the décor, which is an eclectic blend of traditional African and modern works of art mixed with original older paintings.
Elevated on wooden decks, with panoramic views over one of Onguma’s most beautiful waterholes is the new Onguma Camp Kala. With its conical, mud plastered central tower resembling a termite mound and the whole camp elevated on wooden stilts – it is set to raise the bench- mark to a whole new level. The thatched camp is centered around game viewing with numerous vantage points to take it all in – be it the comfortable lounge, the intimate cocktail bar or the beautiful deck, which is sunny by day and warmed by a fire pit at night. The dining area has an open plan ‘show’ kitchen and all-day pantry to ensure everyone feels right at home. For guests who want to be more active there is a gym, whilst those who want to relax, can while away the hours in comfort in the ground-level photographic hide, enjoy a massage in the treatment room or practice yoga on the yoga deck.
Camp Kala consists of just four guest Suites, linked by raised walkways, and although the lodge is perfect for exclusive use for 8 to 12 guests, the 4 suites can also be booked individually. Spacious and private, the open-plan suites have sumptuous twin or king-sized beds with a state-of-the-art air-cooling system. The comfortable seating area is equipped with a fully stocked personal bar. Each suite has its own deck with fire pit, outdoor shower and wood-fired hot tub. There is a walkway to the private, shaded sala with a king- size outdoor day bed – perfectly placed for an armchair safari or to ‘sleep out’ under the stars.
Okaukeujo, located 17 km from the southern entrance of the Etosha National Park, is famous for its flood-lit waterhole, where visitors can observe at close quarters a spectacle of wildlife congregating and interacting.
Built into an old German Historic Fort built in 1897, Namutoni Camp is the perfect setting for a cultural adventure African savannah. It is located in the eastern part of the Etosha National Park in close proximity to the Fisher’s Pan – a hotspot for birders. The romantic fort overlooks the flood-lit King Nehale Waterhole from which visitors can enjoy views of wildlife without leaving the camp.

Strikingly set on the Andoni plains, one kilometre from Etosha National Park’s King Nehale gate is Etosha King Nehale. The lodge effortlessly portrays the shape of a Nguni cattle head, with chalets stunningly furrowed to the north and south, from the central area like a bull’s horns.
Tucked into the forest along the dry riverbed is an intimate and relaxed bush camp with a taste of yesteryear safari-style.”
AOBA is a word from the San (Bushman) languages which means “when the sun goes down“. Situated in the forested area of a riverine environment, the recently renovated Onguma Etosha Aoba Camp offers high thatched ceilings, an impressive wine cellar to complement delicious meals served under the stars, a refreshing swimming pool and an elevated viewing deck both overlooking a large and active waterhole. Onguma Etosha Aoba Camp is unfenced and therefore no children under the age of 7 years will be allowed. Game drives are conducted on open safari vehicles and therefore for safety reasons, children under 10 years are not permitted on game drive vehicles.
