Ouhave Country Home is situated in the north-east of Namibia about 100 km away from the Waterberg Plateau. The guest farm is run by the owners, who also breed with the indigenous Nguni cattle on their farm and who are happy to give guests insight into typical Namibian farm life. Our guesthouse is located in northern Namibia near Grootfontein, ideally located if you are on your way to the Caprivi strip, Bushmanland or Ovamboland, Seidarap is also a very good overnight possibility.

Wildacker is located on a private and very extensive wildlife and nature reserve in northeastern Namibia. This is perfect as a base or stopover for tours to the animal paradise of the tropical Caprivi up to the Victoria Falls.

Our area is home to a widely representative cross-section of Namibian wildlife. It is a wonderland for lovers of both fauna and flora alike. Animals can be viewed by sitting in one of the many elevated hides located at various waterholes around the ranch. Alternatively, relax on our deck at the pool, which looks onto a waterhole. Different species of animals visit this waterhole day and night, when the waterhole is illuminated. The area around the Waterberg is also well-known amongst bird lovers.
Waterberg Guest Farm offers four comfortably furnished rooms and four bush bungalows, en suite. A lounge with a fireplace and a selection of books await you on cold winter nights. In the afternoon guests are treated with coffee and tea. Afterwards you may want to join our guide on a drive: visit the Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF), go to the ‘Little Serengeti’ with an abundance of wildlife, or enjoy your sundowner at one of our dams or waterholes against the backdrop of the majestic Waterberg Plateau.

The main attraction in the area is the Duwisib castle, a medieval fortress which was built for the German ‘Baron’ Captain Hans Heinrich von Wolf in 1907.
