Complementing the magnificence of a red sand sea, Namib Desert Lodge lies at the foot of ancient fossilized dunes. Make some space for wonder. Atop the ridge, as the sand begins to glow deep rich sienna, a view of utter beauty is illuminated in gold, extending from the soft dunes around you to the green ribbon of riverine trees in the distance and the purple-blue mountains. The Private Bush Suite is situated in the open Acacia thornveld within the secluded wilderness area of the Okonjima valley with a backdrop of the sandstone Omboroko Mountains. It is approximately 3.5km from the Plains Camp and 500m from the Bush Camp. Located on the edge of a natural waterhole, its two separate, luxury, en-suite bedrooms under a double-volume thatched roof can accommodate a family or group of four (4 pax: one group only).

Just east of Aus, Klein Aus Vista lodge is nestled in the granite-gneiss hills with magnificent views of the landscape. This is the area where the Namib Desert begins to merge with golden grasses, where wild horses roam free and people once gathered with diamond dreams. Klein Aus Vista provides the perfect base to explore south-western Namibia, as a destination in itself or a perfect halfway stop en route from the canyon to the red dunes of Sossusvlei or vice versa.

We have 14 spacious panorama suites available, all with their own balcony overlooking Karivos spectacular Savannah landscape.
Elements of rough natural stone from the area and thatched grass roof were used to integrate the rooms into nature and make the lodge as unobtrusive to the landscape as possible. All rooms are comfortably furnished and have a minibar and coffee station available.

Onguma’s Luxury Tamboti Campsite is impressive and delightful to all campers.  The 25 Luxury campsites are all nestled in the trees of the Onguma Reserve.  Each camper can enjoy their own private space in the bush. these luxury campsite have their own private ablution facilities. A spacious shower room, separate toilet and covered washing-up areas will ensure you are comfortable. all units are equipped with electrical plugs so our campers can keep their drinks cold and their cameras charged.  There is a stunning main area with restaurant where you can enjoy a hearty meal while looking out across the waterhole.  Although the Onguma Tamboti Luxury Campsite is fenced in, adult supervision of children is required at all times.

n’Kwazi lodge is situated in the northern part of Namibia, overlooking the Okavango River, only 21km east of Rundu. The Plains Camp is 700m from the airstrip within the secluded wilderness area of Okonjima Nature Reserve and has majestic sunset views. Its design honours the Hanssen’s family cattle-farming history with its three-tier accommodation facility of 10 large View Rooms, 14 spacious Standard Rooms and six affordable Garden Rooms. It is family-friendly and wheelchair accessible.

Zambezi Mubala is a secret river hideaway where water laps the shores of the mighty Zambezi, hippos laugh and the calls of fish eagles pierce the vast blue sky. Leave your vehicle at Zambezi Mubala Camp, south of Katima Mulilo to cruise downriver and enter the enchanted Mubala world. The lodge sings its tributes to the colours of the water, the surrounding riverine vegetation and the clear blue sky, adopting the local Silozi name for colour – ‘Mubala’. A bird-lover’s dream, Zambezi Mubala Lodge is home to over 450 species of birds and hosts the springtime (August – December) visit of one of the largest colonies of carmine bee-eaters in Africa. These bright and cheerful visitors nest along the banks of the majestic Zambezi, filling the air with sound, activity and colour as they flash crimson breasts, swooping and rising into the air in an exuberant burst of energy.
