The Ameib Rhino Sanctuary which is part of the Erongo Mountain Rhino Sanctuary Trust, is a specially protected wilderness area with guest house in the Erongo Mountains, offering 10 guest rooms and 10 camping sites. Khan River was originally a cattle farm but was converted to a game farm and tourist destination a number of years ago. All internal fences were removed allowing the game to roam freely. For the last 15 years we have been building up game stock on our 15 000 acre game farm which has no high fence thereby allowing the animals to move at will around the Okawi Conservancy of which we are members & which covers an area of over half a million acres.
