The Etusis Nature and Game Reserve was gradually expanded to its 21,000 hectares of today. We consciously avoid fences, which suppress the natural migration of the game species through the Reserve.  The Lodge was built a little later in the heart of the reserve – with a gentle ecologically sustainable tourism concept, in which mankind understands herself as a guest. This has created jobs for the local community and, last but not least, we are trying to give each of our guests an impression of the uniqueness of Namibian nature and the necessity to preserve it.

Situated 45 Km’s south of Wolwedans and hugged by massive granite rocks, Boulders Safari Camp is the most remote and ‘classic’ camp of the Wolwedans Collection. This tiny camp is as far off the beaten track, as it can get. 3 night package with arrival every Monday & Thursday of the week.

Namib Dune Star Camp is situated on the crest of ancient sand dunes overlooking the spectacular landscape of the Namib Desert. Built in the wattle and daub style under Mopane trees and connected by a labyrinth of paths, the main building and chalets of the lodge look like an African village. The walls are adorned by copies of the rock engravings at Twyfelfontein. Each of the 60 double room chalets (with air conditioning) sits in a vegetable and herb garden surrounded by a low wall. The gardens supply fresh ingredients for supper, which consists of a starter followed by a delicious buffet. There is a swimming pool for chilling out and a viewing point for relishing sunsets. The lodge at the gates of Damaraland is ideally suited for excursions to Twyfelfontein, the Petrified Forest and the Vingerklip rock pillar.
