Kaisosi River Lodge is situated 7 km East of Rundu, in the North East of Namibia on the banks of the perennial Kavango River, on route to Divundu and Kalima Mulilo. This peaceful oasis, which can be reached in a normal sedan vehicle, is an ideal place for nature lovers and bird watchers.

The Kavango River Lodge, with a spectacular view over the Okavango River and flood plains of southern Angola, caters for both tourists and business people. The chalets have en-suite facilities, air-con, TV-4 channels, refrigerators, hotplates, kettles, cutlery, crockery. Ngepi Camp, situated in the unspoiled upper reaches of the Okavango delta panhandle in the western Caprivi strip, Kavango region, Namibia.  With clean Kalahari desert air, the camp is set on an island under amazing trees with permanent river frontage and surrounded by seasonally flooded swamps. It is a paradise of flooded plains and secret swampy backwaters, teaming with wildlife, as we are nestled between Mahango National park, a few km’s to the south, and Bwabwata National Park directly opposite across the river. Most of our campsites are along the river’s edge, with a grassed camping area and an adjacent parking space for vehicles, trailers and caravans. Each site has its own 220v AC solar powered electricity point, river water tap and fireplace/braai area. Our Bush campsites are a bit more secluded, with lovely big trees for shade, but they have no river view.

n’Kwazi lodge is situated in the northern part of Namibia, overlooking the Okavango River, only 21km east of Rundu. A gem in this region, with western style bed and breakfast, makes us the obvious choice for your journey between Etosha and Caprivi. Samsitu Riverside Camp is a communal managed campsite situated directly at the banks of the Okavango 13km west of Rundu.

At Shametu River Lodge you will be experiencing the tranquillity of the Kavango River on your doorstep. When driving to the Caprivi, most travellers assume that Divundu, Kavango East, is only a place for a quick stop-over on their way to game parks and fishing tales but what they do not realise is that they are driving thru one of Namibia’s most precious hidden gems. Divundu is filled with the rich culture of the Kavango people – women draped with colourful cloth, Nguni cattle crossing the road every few meters. Children playing in the river and men on the wato’s catching dinner with nothing but an earthworm on a hand line. Game parks filled with wildlife, the Kavango East has become a destination in its own, a place where you can spend at least a few days.

Shamvura Camp, ‘the place from where rain can be seen’, with its access to more than 20 kilometres of a largely pristine riverine system, is big on birding and fishing activities, while crafts, basketry and boat trips are also on the list.
